Industrialist, Anyakora, Others Join APGA In Abagana, Rally Behind Gov Soludo

Ahead of Anambra Governorship Election, a renowned industrialist, Chief Chris Anyakorah, has officially joined the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in Abagana, Njikoka Local Government Area.

The business magnate who was received into the party at his Orofia Village residence, underscored the need for people to support the party for more impactful development programmes by Governor Chukwuma Soludo.

Declaring for the party in the presence of stakeholders, Anyakora, who is a Community Leader, called on the citizenry to work together for the overall interest of the state.

Decorating the new members, the State Chairman of APGA, Chief Ifeatu Obi Okoye, expressed joy over their interest to join the party, which he said, reflects the aspirations of the people.

He called on them to ensure grassroots mobilisation for resounding success of the party in the upcoming governorship election and beyond.

Okoye, emphasized the party’s openness to individuals of goodwill who are passionate about improving the lives of the people through its platform, adding that the party remains focused on good governance.

The Mayor of Njikoka Local Government Area, Bar Chinedu Ononiba, congratulated Chief Anyakorah, for opting for progress by joining the party, which he described as a mass movement.

Chinedu Nwoye, Chief of Protocol To Governor Soludo, assured them of getting all their rights and privileges as party members without any form of discrimination by old members.

Contributing, Assembly Members representing Njikoka State Constituencies, Hon Chidi Ibemeka and Jude Akpua, noted that the new members have made the right choice by supporting the ruling party led by Governor Soludo.

The Chairman of APGA, Njikoka Local Government Area, Pharm Chinedu Anekwe, commended Chief Anyakorah for his long standing record in community development, education and philanthropy, pointing out that his traditional title”Okofia lll” of Abagana is a testament to his enduring impact.

He, then, expressed optimism that his presence would raise the bar, galvanize and attract more credible people into the party.

The event was attended by other stakeholders and supporters of the party including George Ozo, a former Transition Committee Chairman of Njikoka Local Government Area
