Group Holds Solidarity Rally For Gov Soludo

The president, Anambra State Association of Town Unions, Youth Wing, Comrade Ken Okoli, has said Gov Soludo had surpassed expectations in performance, hence deserved reelection
He conveyed this message following a solidarity rally in support of the Governor organised by the group in Awka, calling on the people to unite behind him in repositioning the state.
Okoli, also critized those calling for disbandment of the state security outfit, Agunechemba, positing that only erring operatives should be punished according to the law.
“The rally is to show solidarity and support to the present government. We also organised this rally to make our voice to be heard that Operation Udo Ga Achi and Agunechemba should remain as part of the security agencies providing solution in our security”
While dismissing protests calling for disbandment of the security outfit, he noted that such actions to a large extent had some elements of politics by opposition candidates jostling to govern the state
He added that people at the grassroots had seen the developmental efforts of the Governor aimed at transforming the state to take its place of pride, stressing that they were galvanising support for him because of the gains in continuity.
Okoli, commended Gov Soludo asserted that he deserved continued Support to make the state a model for other states.
The group led scores of its members on a road walk from Aroma Axis to the State Government House, where the Chief of Staff, Ernest Ezeajugh, appreciated them for the peaceful manner they conducted the exercise.
He reiterated that Gov Soludo remained committed to infrastructural development and protecting people of the state from criminals and criminality.
