The Governorship Candidate of the Young Progressives Party YPP for the upcoming Anambra State Election, Sir Paul Chukwuma, has blamed the incumbent governor for poor performance and not focusing on issues that are weighing the state down.
He argued that the governor had left serious issues yearning for urgent attention in the state in pursuit of theatrics.
Sir Chukwuma who spoke through a statement issued in Awka, described the situation as “disappointing”, citing years of poor leadership and governance in the state.
According to him, the people are not entertained by jokes when insecurity, crumbling infrastructure, and dwindling social life state them in the face .
“After nearly three years in office, Governor Soludo’s administration has left many disappointed. His governance, described largely as non-performing, has failed to deliver anything in the league of the people’s expectations.
“Sir Paul Chukwuma, is in this race because of real governance issues and not interested in Soludo’s deliberate distractions. we are calling his attention to the real issues of insecurity which led to the death of three Anambra residents in Awka.
“The time for comedy is over. Ndi Anambra deserve accountability, not theatrics. Let the governor justify why he deserves a renewal instead of distracting us with clownish performances”
The YPP Candidate, then, emphasized that he had pledged to serve and would give his best for the benefit of the people of the state if voted into office.
” With my proven record of competence, vision, and integrity, i stand as the quality alternative, one who offers not jokes, but positive change”
Sir Chukwuma, wondered what Soludo has been doing in the over three years to address the electricity need of the state, assured that he had understudied stable power supply in ABA and China.
He vowed that within 6 months of his government, he would ensure a stable power supply across the state.
